Peaches started because I wanted to make music I couldn’t always find someone else to make for me. I had ideas in my head and wanted to be able to bring them to life, so I started teaching myself how to produce, figuring things out one session at a time.

At first, it was just for me. I wanted to make the songs I could hear in my head without having to wait for somebody else to make them. The more I learnt, the more I fell in love with the process.

I love that production gives me somewhere to experiment. I can start with a melody, a drum pattern, a random sound or absolutely nothing and just see where it takes me. Sometimes it turns into something completely different from what I imagined, which is usually the best part. If I can hear it in my head, I want to see if I can build it.
